PROJECT CHALLENGES

You will join a team that adhere to XP agile principles with a strong commitment to code quality rather than pushing code out of the door. They love to follow a test-driven approach and aim to pair programme the majority of the time. They genuinely want their developers to learn on-the-job and encourage developers to make the most of their research days and “Gold Cards”, which can be used to work on whatever you choose, this may be a new working practice, technology/tool and even new language. They understand how quickly tech can change and want to stay on the bleeding edge of technology. Similarly, they also offer generous training budgets and allow 3 days per year to attend conferences.

You will work on systems that reach over 1 billion people and will face all the technical challenges that come with this around scalability, low latency, and high throughput.
