We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer with an interest in big data and technologies such as Spark, Scala and Kafka for a key greenfield project.
In this role you will help design and build a new capability making use of big data technology. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in changing the way that data based products are delivered across the company. You will build cloud-based data processing pipelines and work with Infrastructure-as-a-Service offerings from Amazon to provide solutions to teams that depend on our data pipelines.
You will be joining a fast-growing agile team to help data scientists, data engineers and developers to access and analyse the company’s data sets to derive new information or extract actionable insights such as recommendations and metrics by providing secured and supported access to data and user-friendly interactive tools and discovery capabilities so that teams can easily apply Machine Learning and analytical techniques to build data applications.
Our stack: Scala, Spark, Kafka, Java 8/11, ElasticSearch, NoSQL, Hadoop, AWS, Git, Jenkins, Microservices, REST APIs.
