PROJECT CHALLENGES

This is a very senior position within 1 of 3 teams responsible for the evolution of several core aspects of their platform architecture. You would be hands on with a deep technical involvement across a broad range of technology, teams and architectures in the platform services team. You would be exposed to cutting edge technologies and complex domain models whuilst following the Spotify Engineering Model. They are moving from a large scale, complex monolithic Java architecture to micro-services, you would ideally have a Java development background, knowledge of messaging architectures, RESTful APi’s, cloud automation and Domain Driven Design. You would work closely with the development team and Development Manager in an agile environment and overall have a heavy influence on the technical direction of the overall platform.
